Two gentle ways to start
Both are online and low-commitment. The Triage Advice Call is a conversation. The One-Off Consultation is a full look at what’s happening, with a written plan to follow.

Triage Advice Call
Sometimes you just want to talk to someone who understands, rather than keep typing questions into a search bar. This call is for exactly that.
What happens
- We talk about what your dog is doing, when it happens and how it’s affecting you both.
- I ask questions to understand what might be behind it.
- You leave with a clear direction: what to try first, whether a consultation would help, or who else might be better placed to help.
Good to know
The call is guidance by conversation, so there’s no written plan. If you go on to book a One-Off Consultation, the cost of the call is credited toward it, so you never pay twice to get started.
Is the call right for you?
Choose the call if you’re not sure what kind of help you need, if your question is fairly general, or if you’d simply like to talk before deciding anything.
One-Off Consultation
A safe, gentle starting point for guardians who aren’t sure where to begin, without committing to anything bigger before you’re ready.
-
Before: a short questionnaire
A gentle form about your dog: what frightens them, what you’ve noticed, any avoidance, shutdown or defensive behaviour, what you’ve already tried, your home and routine, and what you’d like to change. It also asks how you’re feeling, because that matters too.
-
During: a 60–75 minute online session
A calm, structured conversation. We look at how your dog is day to day, the early signs they’re uneasy, what sets the fear off, where they hold tension in their body, what in their surroundings adds to it, how you respond, and what keeps everyone safe. Most of all, what your dog is trying to tell you and what they need next.
-
After: your written starting plan
A practical plan written for your dog: changes at home that help them feel safer, safety recommendations, first trust-building exercises, simple steps toward calm, willing handling, guidance on pacing, and what I’d suggest next.
