Online, wherever you are in France
Most support is online, by video call or by messages. For a frightened dog that is often better: they stay at home where they feel safest, and nobody new arrives at the door. Guardians in the UK are welcome too.
When your dog is frightened, anxious or reacting in ways you don’t understand, it helps to talk it through in your own language. I work in English with guardians across France, online, and in person around Limoges and Brive.
Many are rescue dogs, adopted in France or brought over from the UK. Some have always been worried. Some changed after a move, an incident or a hard start.
Searching for a dog trainer? You’re in the right place. Most people don’t know the difference between a trainer and a behaviourist, and they don’t need to. My work is with behaviour that comes from fear or worry, rather than sit and stay, and it’s reward and choice based, at your dog’s pace. If general training is what you need, I’ll tell you and suggest someone. How I help
Describing what your dog does, and how it makes you feel, takes detail. So does understanding a plan well enough to follow it on a bad day. Doing all of that in a second language is hard, especially when you’re already worried.
Everything with me is in English: the conversation, the questions and the written plan. You can ask anything, and you’ll know exactly what to try next and why.

If you live in Limoges, Brive, and surrounding areas, ongoing support can include in-person sessions where meeting would help your dog.
The First Step: what’s happening and how it’s affecting you both, by video call or by messages.
The Second Step: a closer look at what’s going on for your dog, then a written plan to start from, or written options if you’re considering rehoming.

Pain and illness can change behaviour. If your dog’s behaviour has changed suddenly, please see your vet first. I’m happy to work alongside them.
I’ll read every word and reply personally, in English.
